Going Green

Hi there

What have you been up to today?

We have had a run out to Cleethorpes this afternoon to see the sea (which was out) and had a lovely walk around the boating lake, finished off with an icecream :-) And the weather kept dry so always a bonus.

My project today was again inspired by YouTube, all seperate ideas which I put together to make a little gift set. At first when I sat back I thought I had gone stamping crazy, but I was in the mood for stamping (I can feel a Nolan's song coming on).

I had a look through my card stock and didn't have enough of one green colour to do the whole project so I have used up what was left. The colours are all SU and they are:-

Mellow Moss
Old Olive (should be renamed Old Favourite)
Certainly Celery
Perfect Plum

The stamp set is SU Vintage Vogue (again I know - sorry). However, the sentiment on the shopping list is an Elzybells purchase. Here I am feeling a little pleased with myself as it was a long stamp, so I inked half of it, stamped, then inked the latter part and stamped underneath. I even managed to line it up quite well.

The circles are done using the Cuttlebug.

Greetings Card.

Post it Note Holder - now I have had a good old chuckle here, as you will notice there are no post its inside. For my long suffering colleague, who sits opposite me at work, will not be surprised by this, as I never have any post its in my drawer and always pinch hers!

Shopping List Holder - I attached a little ribbon to make a pen holder (had I had time, I would have probably inked up some paper and put inside the pen so it matched)

Hope you've enjoyed my project tonight and that it's not too green for you.

Thanks for stopping by.

Becki
