Perfect Plum Designer Paper Series

Afternoon

I have a new addiction, not just my Hougie Board, but YouTube!! I know I am years behind many crafters out there, but I feel I may be forgiven seeing as though as still quite a "newbie" at card making :-)

Before I go on to show you my project, I have to say "hi" to my friends from Hexthorpe who I haven't seen for weeks - Elaine, Barbara, Sue, Janet and all the other lovely ladies. Elaine has said before about Youtube and craft projects, but I just hadn't got round to looking. Well there's no stopping me now (until I go back to work that is). It is a crafters heaven, full of ideas and inspiration.

This project was demo'd on YouTube and I fell in love with it. I added the paper into the pens, which Elaine showed to us one Thursday.

The envelops are C6 size, and are just a teeny weeny bit too wide for the box. But ever impatient I had stamped the little flower on the back before I checked! Had I looked through my envelope stock there is one that fits perfectly (not sure of it's correct sizing). I think it works well with the notelets stood up though.

The 6 notelets are A6 size, and use up the remaining strip from the 12x12 paper. I made two different designs and put a insert in with the same stamp on the left inside page, but it could be left blank.

Here they are altogether

Finally a pic of the holder on it's own. Add a strip across the top for a handle and you have a gift box!!

Both stamps are from SU Baroque Motifs, paper is Perfect Plum Designer Papers, and the ink is Perfect Plum and Whisper White. I used my scallop and plain circle nestabilities for the embellishments.

I can feel a Christmas version coming along.

I think I need to go back to work before I run out completely of craft stock :-) Hope you are all having a good day, despite the wet weather.

Thanks for stopping by.
