Vintage Vogue

Hi there, how's your weekend been? We have had a lovely weekend. Today was spent with Mum and Dad, driving out to the east coast, stopping for lunch at a garden centre.

There was a gift & craft fair on in a village hall, so ever the crafter, we all popped in. It was a small but friendly place. I picked up a few bits from a stall whose owner was extremely friendly and helpful (without being pushy) and we had a lengthy chat about scoreboards (as you do) (my lot had stopped at the tea bar and were having cake and coffee by then!). I have to say a huge thanks to my Mum as she came over to see what were chatting about and bought me the Hougieboard!! It does score much better than any I have used previously. Thanks Mum xx

Yesterday was a little lazy, not much crafting, but I have been blog hopping and there are some fantastic crafting ones out there. And I must say the ones I visited are links from the wonderful blogs I have listed on here.

So inspiration came today from Monica's blog. I loved the colour combo and the use of the Vintage Vogue set. So here are my versions and a little extra one!

I haven't decided yet if this one is to be landscape or portrait.

Colour combos are SU Sage Shadow, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel. I stamped onto some cream pearlescent paper from my stash (tip - let the ink completely dry out when stamping onto this medium), Martha Stewart Punches for the edging, SU Bridesmaid Papers and ribbon from my stash (which is quite a good match). Sentiment is from Whimsical Words, punched with a 2" heart. Adhesive pearls from my stock.

Phew - I think I have listed everything.

I still have another week off work left and as Chris is fully mobile now (he's done fantastic to say it's not a week since his op) we will be having a few more days out.

A long blog tonight - hope you've stayed with me :-)

Thanks for stopping by.

Becki
xx
