Xmas

Morning, how is everyone? I have to say a particular hello to my lovely crafty friend Elaine, who I know gets withdrawal symptoms when new posts don't appear on craft blogs :-) Also hi to Caroline, thanks for joining me on here.

I am sending lots of good luck wishes this morning to Janet who is very bravely completing a 14 mile walk in the Brecon Beacons, in aid of the British Heart Foundation, this weekend. Make sure those feet are well wrapped Janet and don't go losing any mobiles down the hills.

On Thursday night I decided to start on some more Xmas cards, but didn't get very far as spent lots of time chatting. Plus Leanne came with me and hasn't stopped talking about how much Barbara helped her with her card. I wasn't feeling 100% after work yesterday and attempted to do a card using my cuttlebug embossing folder. It isn't brill as my paper cutter has decided to go wonky - I think the blade needs replacing, which is my own fault really as I have put card through it.

I used SU Garden Green card for the mount and a ice gold white for the card. The ribbon is something which I have had for ages and never used. The little beads are from my Cross Stitch stash, thought it would bling it up a bit (they don't really show up so well on the pics).

Well, off to get the last few school bits - pe shoes and top this time, then should all be ready for Tuesday.

Have a fab day.

Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Hi Julie, I'm feeling much better thanks, think it was just tiredness from a first full week back at work and a few hospital appointments for this kids thrown in too!! I've got the X-Cut pink paper trimmer, it's drove me insane this weekend :-) xx

  3. I ve got the blue one but once the grey cutting strip gets loads of grooves in it , it won't cut sharp even with a new blade. If you ring Do crafts they will send you a new strip for freebie , in the mean time try turning the strip over. Worth a try
